Cascade Falls

Cascade Falls is an average waterfall in the Ottawa National Forest. There are several small drops in quick succession as the river cascades over subsequent rocky outcrops. None are more than 8'-10' tall at most. It's a nice spot, don't get me wrong, but it isn't a looker like Bond or Agate Falls, for example.
There's a trail that leads from the parking area down to the falls, although the lower portions through the forest nearer to the river are quite muddy. The trail also loops up to a beautiful bluff with really nice views! The bluff trail has some fairly steep parts to it, so don't plan on bringing grandma up with her walker.
Of note, there's a couple of deep pools below the falls themselves that are over head-height and perfect for a backwoods skinny dip. You heard it here first!
