Gogebic Ledges

The Gogebic Ledges are a series of cliffs that dot the bluff just north of Lake Gogebic, in between Bergland and Merriweather.  The Gogebic Ridge Trail passes near (or directly to) some of the best vantage points, making it relatively easy to access for hiking.  Although the Gogebic Ledges aren't super tall, the views are quite nice.  You've got the lake in the background and plenty of forested landscape in all directions to block the view of any development down below.  Unfortunately, there is quite a bit of road noise from M-28.  Camping options are few and far between at the actual viewpoints.
