NATHAN INVINCIBLE

Scenic Ottawa National Forest land borders this nice stretch of the Sturgeon River. Although there are some Class I and a few Class II rapids, they're all fairly easy to sail through even for newbies. There's no development once you leave the put-in at Prickett Dam until just before you reach M-38. Plenty of spots to camp if you want to rough it out there too! I hit it when the Prickett gauge said 460 CFS which was a little low. A bit higher and the rapids would be that much more fun. Find a few photos here.
